Rep. Matthew Hill: Ice Cream Socialist

I found the following "Special Event" posted at the www.matthewlistens.com web site:
Special Events
Ice Cream Social 9/22/06
Join Matthew at Sister's Family Restaurant at 109 Mill Street in Jonesborough on Friday Sept. 22, from 5 to 8 PM. Join us for a free ice cream and discuss your concerns about our community.

Really? I believe that this would be a good time to get ahold of the Ice Cream Socialist Hill as ask Hill about RU-486, his legislative vote in Nashville cast against pre-K education spending for Tennessee children (as Rep. Hill once stated on air at WPWT 870 AM that his only opposition to the pre-K program was that the money was only allocated for public schools --- and presumably not for summer art camps) or about his Appalchian Educational Communications Corporation a.k.a. WHCB 91.5 FM and Cameo Theatre applying for (and often receiving) state and fedral grant monies from agencies as the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts

(the IRS Form 1023 Application for Recognition of Exemption Parts III V signed by the Rev. Daddy Dr. Kenneth C. Hill on June 29, 1981 reveal a 1982 proposed budget that listed $50,000 in grants from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting)
