Sorry Jesus: Candidate David Davis Hires Timothy Hill Away From "Good Morning Tri-Cities" Calling
Timothy Hill, host of WPWT 870 AM "Good Morning Tri-Cities" is announcing this morning (Friday, August 11) that "today" is his "last day" as the GMTC host --- it is now early into the broadcast, but it is safe to speculate that Timothy Hill will be working full-time on the general election campaign team to elect former Tennessee State Rep. David Davis as the next U.S. House of Representative for the Tennessee 1st Congressional District.
While Hill is annoucing that he that he will no longer be the GMTC host, he has not yet indicated if he will be actually quitting his employment with the 501(c)(3) tax exempt Appalachian Educational Communication Corporation (and the large paycheck that he receives from the Rev. Daddy Dr. Kenneth C. Hill) or merely taking a non-compensated leave of absence from AECC pending the outcome of the general election.
As earlier posted with this blog site, Timothy Hill is listed within FEC records as a generous contributor to the Davis campaign effort and is also using GMTC to promote Davis news releases, telephone calls, and other on-air Davis support prior to 2006 Republicam primary election...perhaps on his last broadcast day before the November elections, Timothy Hill will finally announce on GMTC that he made a $250.00 contribution to the Davis campaign.

Good riddance lil' Timmy. I just feel bad that people in D.C. will be led to think that he represents the Tri-Cities. So does this mean his teenage sister will be the next host? I thought they viewed the woman's place as barefoot and in the kitchen.
I knew Timmy was looking for a cushy legislative aide position in D.C. when he and his family decided to turn their radio station into the David Davis channel. It is a nice example of payola.
What I think is funny is that there is a good chance that Timmy will be in D.C. while Matty gets kicked out of Nashville. I guess that is who the new host will be. Ugh.
No...Davis (if elected) will probably hire both of the Hill brothers with the stream of thought that you cannot ever load up one's congressional staff with enough barking lunatics...
The Rev. Daddy Dr. Kenneth C. Hill is apparently now filling in the GMTC morning spot...Ken is now on the air Monday, August 14.
Ken just stated (0718) that his son Timothy "resigned" without specifying whether his son merely resigned from GMTC or from the 501 (c)(3) tax exempt Appalachian Educational Communication Corporation itself.

"Calling" is used here as the former WPWT 870 AM "Good Morning Tri-Cities" host Timothy Hill would answer critics as to why he was not serving with the U.S. military with the standard pat answer of "this [AECC-WPWT radio] is my calling [from Jesus]...
