Hill "Immigration Reform" Ad: Should English Composition Be Component of Citizenship Exam?

While up early today (around 6:00.a.m.), sipping down some hot tea and flipping through some of the large folds of the September 24, 2006 edition of the Johnson City Press, I opened the A section of the Sunday newspaper to a rather large re-election campaign advertisement for Rep. Matthew Hill. The display ad appearing on page 6A that announced Hill's Septenber 26 "IMMIGRATION REFORM - Town Hall Meeting" scheduled to start Tuesday nightat 6:00 p.m. at the Johnson City Public Library.

Aside from being yet another apparent Hill FUD (fear, uncertainity, doubt) campaign news release, I soon noticed to things wrong about Hill's "IMMIGRATION REFORM - Town Hall Meeting" advertisement:

1) the Matthew Hill campaign treasurer is listed as "Kathy Anderson, Treasurer" (instead of "Jennifer Dier, Treasurer");
2) and the footer text reads "MEET STATE LAWMAKERS THAT WILL HELP DECIDE YOUR FUTURE".

I am now wondering if Tennessee State Representative Matthew Hill and other "LAWMAKERS" will be pushing for federal legislationlink to Hill "Immigration Reform" 09/24 ad
