Sorry State o' Frank: 2006 Taj MaHill
Total Appraisal Value Spikes
State of Franklin PAC President and 501(c)(3) tax-exempt Appalachian Educational Communication Corporation (AECC - WHCB 91.5 FM) President Rev. Dr. Kenneth C. Hill and his wife (and fellow compensated AECC board member) Janet Hill --- MaHill and PaHill are the politically connected parents of Rep. Matthew Hill --- are both probably still reeling in shock after learning of the most recent 2006 total appraisial vaule increase for their "Taj MaHill" residence in Blountville.
The Rev. Daddy Dr. Hill is also owns 51% of Information Communications Corporation d.b.a WPWT 870 AM "independently" of the 49% WPWT ownership held by AECC...
According newly-updated public record information listed the State of Tennessee Real Estate Appraisal Card for their Polo Drive property, the Hills of AECC fame are on the receiving end of an additional 2006 property tax bite attributed to a $52,300 total appraisal increase well beyond the 2005 total appraisal of $317,500: the 2006 total appraisal value for the Sullivan County Taj MaHill is now hovering at $369,800!
And I was wondering why I was hearing a lot of discussion recently about Sullivan County property taxes on WPWT "Good Morning Tri-Cities"...
