EDITOR:
The March 19 article on our trio of legislators [Reps. Matthew Hill and David Davis and Senator Rusty Crowe] was much funnier than the new microfiche-sized comics.

First comes the quote from Rep. Matthew Hill: "Myself, as well as Rusty and David, will be working on the drag racing bill." His self should immediately race onto the Tennessee House floor and sponsor "The Remedial Grammar Enhancement for Semi-Inarticulate Lawmakers Act of 2006." Desiring to make a bigger difference, his self could open the Matthew Hill Center for Lawmakers Who Don't Speak Good and Want to Do Other Stuff Good Also.

In all fairness to Rep. Matthew Hill, I would like to point out to Mr. Hemphill (if that is indeed your last name) that I have had many opportunities to listen to young Mr. Hill --- a former radio talk show host with his "Good Morning Tri-Cites" morning talk radio show broadcasted by the WPWT 870 AM radio station jointly owned by both his father's Information Communications Corporation and the Hill-controlled 501(c)(3) tax-exempt Appalachian Educational Communications Corporation (WHCB 91.5 FM) --- and I always came away from each of these radio broadcasts with the favorable impression that Rep. Matthew Hill was a well-spoken (albeit babbling) moron...
